Franklin County Tourist Development Council
REQUEST FOR STILL PHOTOS
The Franklin County Tourist Development Council (FCTDC), is
seeking proposals from photographers to provide a library of photos of seafood
and tourism industry related scenes.
This is an effort to replenish the FCTDC photo library with a
variety of new images to pictorially capture the culture and heritage of
Franklin County for the purpose of marketing in the county’s cultural and
heritage tourism program. The project involves contracting with one or more
photographers to shoot pictures of fishermen actively harvesting, crabs,
oysters, shrimp, clams, scallops and finfish within Franklin County. The images
should also include cooking and presentation shots of seafood delicacies as
well as nature-based images and tourism activities of the area.
Once complete, the images will be uploaded to the Franklin County
Tourist Development Council website (www.saltyflorida.com) where they will be
available for media use and to further the marketing efforts of the FCTDC and
its partners.
Photos should include, but
not be limited to the following:
- Commercial seafood activities
- Recreational fishing activities
- Natural resources
- Natural, historic and cultural events and activities
- Beach and beach recreation
- Local tourism events
Interested photographers may submit proposals for the entire project
or may submit a proposal limited to a certain geographic region or subject
area. It shall be required that the TDC shall receive all rights to all
photography purchased and that all appropriate signed waivers shall accompany
the photographs if such photographs include images of recognizable persons. All
photographs shall be delivered in high resolution digital format and each
photograph shall be labeled by area or subject.
Photographers should respond to this request by January 1, 2016 at
5:00 P.M. to the Administrative office of the FCTDC at 731 Highway 98,
Eastpoint, Florida 32328 attention Laura Graham or laura@saltyflorida.com and
should include the following information:
- Name, address and contact numbers and email addresses
- Cost per day to include estimated number of images
- Cost basis for purchase of existing photos not requiring a scheduled shoot
- Availability time frame
- Either a sample portfolio or a link to digital portfolio
All contracted photography
services must be complete by May 20, 2016.
All submitted photos should be in CMYK format. Samples of
photographers work should be submitted when responding to this request.
The FCTDC
reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal. The FCTDC may select
portions of work from various providers in order to meet promotional
objectives. Proposals should be good for at least thirty (30) days. Due to the
time limitations associated with this promotional effort this announcement
contains the complete information on the request for proposals. No further
