The City of
Apalachicola will accept proposals from qualified individuals or firms to
contract for work related to operations at the Apalachicola Mill Pond Marine
Repair Facility located at 484 Market Street, Apalachicola, Florida. Contract work will consist of, but not
limited to, the following tasks:
- Repair Yard Operation and Maintenance
- Travel Lift Operation and Maintenance
- Repair Yard and Travel Lift Operation Assistance
- Boat Repair (Wood and Fiberglass)
- Marine Mechanic Work
- Marine Scrapping and Painting
- Other Marine Repair Related Tasks
Applicants should
provide individual and/or firm name, contact information, skills, training,
work history, professional references and any other specific specialties
related to marine work to be considered.
Applicants may submit proposals for any or all services listed. No fees or cost should be included in
proposals. Proof of adequate insurance
identifying the City of Apalachicola as a loss payee will be required if
selected to provide these services. Proposals will be accepted until 4pm,
Friday, July 17, 2015 at City Hall, 1 Avenue E, Apalachicola, Florida, faxed or
email proposals will not be accepted.
Completion of the standard City of Apalachicola employment application
with attached resume will be acceptable, applications can be obtained from City
Hall at the address previously noted.
The City of
Apalachicola reserves the right to refuse any and all proposals submitted. The City of Apalachicola is an equal
