Flags to be flown at half-staff in honor of National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day

By proclamation issued today Florida Gov. Rick Scott is encouraging all Floridians to fly both the United States and the Florida flags at half-staff from sunset to sunset on December 7, 2013, in observance of National Peal Harbor Remembrance Day.  The governor has also directed that both flags be flown at half-staff at all local and state buildings, installations, and grounds throughout the State of Florida.

In addition, Gov. Scott encourages all Floridians to observe National Peal Harbor Remembrance Day with appropriate ceremonies and activities to remember and honor those who died in defense of our freedom on December 7, 1941, at Peal Harbor.
