Gaetz, DEP Officials To Meet on Oil Spill

Destin - State Senator Don Gaetz (R-Niceville) will meet today with Florida Department of Environmental Protection Secretary, Mike Sole, along with officials from British Petroleum and the United States Coast Guard in order for officials to share plans to assist and protect Northwest Florida beaches and bays from the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.

The meeting will be held at 4:30PM CST today, May 4th, inside the Okaloosa County School District Administrative Building located at 120 Lowery Place S.E. in Fort Walton Beach.

The City of Apalachicola will be represented at the meeting by City Administrator Betty Taylor-Webb.
