Mobile, AL –The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, has extended the comment
period for the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) and Water Control Manual (WCM)
for the Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint River Basin until January 30, 2016.
“Due to the complexity and size of the documents we have received requests to extend the
comment period an additional two weeks to allow the public ample time to provide their
comments,” E. Patrick Robbins, Public Affairs Officer said. “Therefore, the comment period has
been extended until January 30, 2016.”
Comments can be emailed to ACF-WCM@usace.army.mil or mailed to Commander, U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, ATTN: PD-EI (ACF-DEIS) P.O. Box 2288, Mobile,
Al. 36628.
The documents and appendices are available for review at http://www.sam.usace.army.mil.
