Brandon Levi Hill |
An Apalachicola man has been arrested for his part in the burglary, assault and robbery of an Apalachicola man during the latter part of January this year, while his accomplice remains at-large.
Last Friday a local judge issued warrants for the arrest of two Apalachicola men, 24-years-old Brandon Levi Hill, of 66 11th Street and 26-years-old of Joshua L. Pilotti, of 234 Timothy Simmons Street for their involvement in the unauthorized entrance of an Apalachicola man’s home, beating the man and robbing him of cash and drugs.
On January 25, 2015 at approximately 8:23 A.M., Apalachicola Police Officer Chase Richards was dispatched to the residence of a man in reference to battery. Upon Officer Richards’s arrival he observed a male subject with a laceration on his nose and bruising and swelling around both of his eyes. The EMS was contacted and the man was transported to Weems Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained during the robbery.
The ensuing investigation found probable cause to believe that Hill and Pilotti entered the man’s home, beat him, took his wallet and drugs, left the premise, burned the wallet and smoked the drugs.
Hill has been arrested and charged with burglary of a dwelling, personal assault and robbery along with a charge of lewd and lascivious act upon a female victim age 12-16 and defendant 18 or older in a separate unrelated case.
Pilotti is still wanted by the Apalachicola Police Department for burglary of a dwelling, personal assault and robbery.
