The Apalachicola area cable television provider Mediacom has announced plans to make a change in their local cable TV lineup. The company has announced that on or about February 2, 2015, the NBC Sports Channel will be moved from the Sports & Information or HDTV package to their Family TV lineup.
In a correspondence received last week from Carrie Boggs, government relations manger with Mediacom announcing the move. The company indicated subscribers will receive notification via letters, converter messages and the Weather Channel crawl prior to the change taking affect. No additional charges related to the change to subscribers of Mediacom cable TV services were indicated in the letter from Boggs.
