Meeting Management Workshop

The Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve announced on Thursday, September 24 an upcoming “Meeting Management & Facilitation Workshop” scheduled for October 14-15, 2009.

The purpose of the workshop is to provide the participants with an opportunity to learn how to design, conduct, and control meetings in public forums.

Those signing up will be able to use collaborative processes in resolving coastal and marine-related issues as well as how to use meeting management skills, knowledge, and competencies to plan for and conduct effective meetings in a public forum and how to deal effectively with the media in the public issues management process.

The NOAA Coastal Services Center will conduct the training at the Estuarine Research Reserve located at 261 Dr. Frederick S. Humphries Street in Apalachicola from 9:00AM to 4:30PM EST with a minimum cost of $25 to attend. The cost includes a continental breakfast, lunch and all workshop materials for both days.
