With Halloween in the City of Apalachicola only five days away, most of us are just thinking about decorations, costumes and buying candy. Larry and Paula Applebee instead are thinking about how their spooky Halloween decor and candy giveaway can benefit local families.
The Applebee's will be holding a canned food drive on Thursday, October 30th the city's designated day for Halloween this year and would like for everyone who come out to visit their "Halloweenie" decorations to bring a canned good for collection and delivery to the local food pantry to benefit Franklin County families.
Each Halloween the Applebee's transform their 17th Street home into Spooksville with realistic and spooktacular decoration. This year is no exception, so stop by to take a peek, get a treat and leave a treat toward a worthwhile community effort.
