Apalachicola Board of City Commissioners to hold regular meeting Tuesday at Holy Family Senior Center


The Apalachicola Board of City Commissioners will hold their regular scheduled monthly meeting at 6:00 P.M. EDT, on Tuesday, June 7, 2016. The meeting will be held inside the Holy Family Senior Citizen Center located at 203 Dr. Frederick Humphries Street in Apalachicola.

Following the prayer and the pledge will be two public discussions concerning the renaming of the Apalachicola Municipal Library to the Margaret Key Library and Magnolia Cemetery to Magnolia Gardens.

There will also be a presentation of two Board Resolutions honoring the Apalachicola Police and Fire Departments and honoring Elinor Mount-Simmions on her retirement from the Franklin County School system.  Along with a host of other matters before the city commission.

As always the public is invited and encouraged to attend all public meetings held by the Apalachicola Board of City Commissioners to become informed concerning the operation of your city government.
