The
Apalachicola Board of City Commissioners have a few action items to consider at
its regular monthly meeting scheduled for 6:00 P.M. EDT, tomorrow Tuesday,
August 2, 2016, inside the Battery Park Community Center at 1 Bay Avenue –
Apalachicola.
The
commission will first hear a presentation from the Forgotten Coast Conservation
Corps., followed by an encroachment request from Chris and Cindy Clark to
construct a 10-foot-wide elevated deck over the public sidewalk at 280 Water
Street (corner of Commerce Street and Avenue G).
Other
action items on the agenda for consideration are the adoption of a new Equal
Employment Opportunity (EEO) policy, a new CDBG procurement policy and a couple
of new American with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance policies, all in
connection with the City’s CDBG Septic Tank Abatement, Bobby Cato Lift Station Upgrades and Water System Improvements Project. Along with a host of other routine monthly business before the commission.
