City unveils new and improved website

Just moments ago the City of Apalachicola launched a redesigned website featuring a responsive design which makes the site easy to navigate and find what you are looking for whether you're using a computer, tablet or smartphone.

The new layout includes a Community section that gives extensive information about the history of the city along with information for visitors.  Next there's the Department section, which includes all the different departments that make up this great city.

You will also find expanded content that include links to maps, ordinances and permit applications for building construction and tree removal. The site also features new pages devoted to building license regulations and code enforcement and a link to the popular "Mayor's Blog".  The site includes a downloadable historic walking tour map of the city's public museums and sites and information about the city's interpretative sign initiative.

City staff holds so much pride for Apalachicola and work hard everyday to make it a better place to live, work and play. We hope the improvements are useful, keep you more informed on what your city leadership is doing and encourage you to get involved.

A special thanks goes to Cindy Clark at Bay Media for the new design and the City's improved online presence. Because of Cindy the site is now more visually appealing, more user-friendly, and it demonstrates the advances in technology that the City has made and we are hopeful that you will be just as excited about the improvements as we are.

If you have any comments, questions, or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact Betty Webb, City Administrator at City Hall or via email at bettywebb@cityofapalachicola.com as we are always looking to improve and grow and your feedback is always welcome and helpful.
