Florida Governor directs flags immediately lowered in honor of Nelson Mandela



In honor of the memory of former South African President Nelson Mandela, Florida Gov. Rick Scott has directed the flags of the United States and the State of Florida to be flown at half-staff at all local, state, and federal buildings, installations, and grounds throughout the State of Florida. 

The flags shall be lowered immediately and remain at half-staff until sunset, Monday, December 9, 2013
