Franklin County TDC to hold Public Meetings


The Franklin County Tourist Development Council is conducting two Public Hearings to discuss the possibility of increasing the tourist tax by 2% for transient rentals.

The first meeting has been scheduled on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the City Offices in Carrabelle.

The second meeting has been scheduled on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the City of Apalachicola Community Room, on Bay Avenue.

This meeting is to present options for increasing this tax and to solicit input from the public. The public is invited to attend and share their ideas.

These are public meetings and two or more County Commissioners may attend.
