This Saturday, September 22, 2012, beginning at 7:00PM EST, Archaeologist Franklin Price will be on hand at the Apalachicola Maritime Museum to talk about his work on the wreck of Blackbeard the Pirate's ship on the North Carolina coast.
Price now coordinates public outreach, dive operations, and manages the State's Underwater Archaeological Preserve program for Florida's Bureau of Archaeological Research. His experience in underwater archaeology includes both maritime and inundated prehistoric projects.
Please join staff and friends on the docks of the Apalachicola Maritime Museum after Price's presentation for a low country boil. Suggested donation is $5.00.
