The Autumn Days of October 2012 will bring with them a month-long series of benefit blues and jazz concerts starting Saturday, October 6 and running through Saturday, October 27, overlooking the city of Apalachicola's historic riverfront.
On October 6, the town will come alive with its kick off concert featuring Grammy nominee Slim Fats at the Listening Room located at the Center for History, Culture & Arts in front of Riverfront Park.
In addition, the Second Saturday monthly event scheduled for October 13 will feature the Smackwater Retrievers group inside Riverfront Park.
Several blues bands will perform on October 20 as part of a Blues in the Park event also at Riverfront Park and October 27 will bring blues to the docks of the Apalachicola Maritime Museum.
