Deepwater Horizon Spill Recovery Summit

The Florida Association of Counties (FAC), in conjunction with the Panhandle counties impacted by the Deepwater Horizon Spill, will be hosting a recovery summit on September 15, 2010, from 10:00AM to 5:00PM (EDT) at the Emerald Coast Conference Center – Okaloosa County, Florida.

FAC has invited experts from the Governor’s office, BP, the US Department of Commerce, the Florida Department of Health, economists, tourism leaders, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, the Florida Department of Emergency Management, and property appraisers.

The summit will focus on the multifaceted recovery response necessary to restore Florida’s economy, environment, and communities.
