The Florida
Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU) Office of Continuing Education
has distributed its list of Approved 2015 Summer Programs.
The Office of
Continuing Education will be offering an array of summer programs ranging from
their “Design Plus Technology Summer Camp” that introduces middle and high
school students to design, robotic, construction engineering, computer modeling
and digital fabrication to their familiar “Black Male College Explores
Program”, which is an at-risk prevention program specifically designed to
prevent black males from dropping out of high school and to significantly
increase their chances of earning a college degree.
Middle and high
school students from Tallahassee and cities throughout Florida are selected for
participation in the Black Male College Explores Program.
In all the programs
are designed with you and your family in mind. Participants will be able to
enjoy a variety of camps that are sure to include art instruction, science
& math, summer recreation and more.
