The
City of Apalachicola Youth Center is located at the Mayor Van W. Johnson, Sr.,
Recreation & Community Service Complex inside the former Apalachicola High
School Gymnasium. The renovation of the
facility and its current operation as a youth center was made possible through
a public-private partnership between the City of Apalachicola and Kids United
Together, Inc., a Florida Non Profit Corporation headed by Helen
Willis-Escobar.
