Carrabelle gearing up for its annual Boat Parade of Lights

The City of Carrabelle is gearing up to kick off the 2014 Christmas holiday season with its annual Holiday on the Harbor Boat Parade of Lights.  A must see event that features a flotilla of assorted boats decorated from bow to stern in Christmas lights.

The event is family oriented with a schedule of fun activities starting a 5:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13,  which will include music, vendors, food by local nonprofits and a visit from Santa at the Marine Street fishing pavilion. The festivities will conclude with live music at C-Quarters Marina performed by local favorite Debi Jordan.

The event is a joint effort of the Carrabelle Waterfront Partnership, the Carrabelle Chamber of Commerce and the City of Carrabelle funded in part by the Franklin County Tourist Development Council.

To sign up for vendor space, you can contact Tamara Allen at (850) 524-1153 or for general information and/or to enter a boat in the parade, contact the Carrabelle Chamber of Commerce office at (850) 697-2585.
