World traveled Nike Skill Development Trainer Ganon Baker will be at the Matchbox

World traveled Nike Skill Development Trainer and Workout Director, Ganon Baker will be arriving in Apalachicola tonight, to pay a visit at the City of Apalachicola’s Youth Center, known as the Matchbox on Monday, March 14.

Baker will be in town to meet and hold a workout session with the Franklin County Seahawks Boy’s and Girls’ Varsity and Junior Varsity Basketball teams and their coaches inside the Matchbox.

From 10:00am – 1:00pm and from 3:30pm - 6:30pm, Baker will host a workout session with the teams and from 1:30pm – 3:00pm with their coaches. He will be going at it again on Tuesday from 9:00am - 12:00pm, and anyone wishing to come out on either days to observe the workout sessions are encouraged and invited to do so.

Baker has worked with Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Amar’e Stoudemire, Chris Paul, Deron Williams and Vince Carter. He trains the top 80 boys and girls in the country for Nike Basketball and Directs Skill Academies all over the world, including The Michael Jordan Brand Classics in Europe.

In 2008 Baker was hired as Amare Stoudemire’s Personal Skill Development Coach and trained players such as Jarryd Bayless, Tyson Chandler Harrison Barnes, Grant Hill, Brandon Knight, James Harden, Demya Walker, Angel McCoughtry, Natalie Novosel, and many more.
