September Meeting Schedule:
The October/November meeting schedule for the TDC is as follows:
TDC Board will meet on November 4, 2015 beginning at 2:00 P.M. at the Eastpoint Visitor Center.
TDC Committees will meet on October 21, 2015 and November 18, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the Eastpoint Visitor Center.

Requests for Proposals:
The FCTDC will be upgrading its Web Site at www.saltyflorida.com over the next several months. In an effort to update and increase its photo and video libraries, it is desirous of obtaining both photos and video clips from photographers and videographers that specialize in Franklin County subjects.  For a copy of the complete RFPs for both video and photo production go to the TDC website at www.saltyflorida.com and click on Administration.

Sustaining Grant Recipient Meetings:
Over the next couple of months TDC staff will be meeting with the organization’s Sustaining Grant Recipients to discuss the review Board members have voted to perform on grant recipients and additional marketing possibilities. Grant recipients will be contacted by the TDC to set a meeting time.

Pilot Marketing Projects:
The TDC will hear a recommendation by staff and Vendors to create a special marketing package for non-profits that wish to cater to mid week and other low occupancy periods.  The TDC will not only be attempting to fill beds in the off season, but during the mid week periods as well. Non-profit groups that are able to design activities for the mid week will be eligible for additional marketing dollars under the proposed program. More information will be included in the next Tourist Talk Edition.

Workshop on Camp Gordon Johnston:
TDC Board members will meet with representatives of Camp Gordon Johnston Museum  on Wednesday October 21 to discuss the Museum will be presenting plans for construction of their new facility at Carrabelle Beach.
