Governor directs flags immediately lowered in wake of Washington Navy Yard shooting

In honor of the victims at the Washington Navy Yard, Gov. Rick Scott has directed that the flags of the United States and the State of Florida be flown a half-staff at all local, state, and federal buildings, installations, and grounds throughout the State of Florida.

The flags shall be lowered immediately and remain at half-staff until sunset on September 20, 2013.
