The Apalachicola Bay Chamber of Commerce will kick off its 6th Annual Art Walk & Wine Festival from 11:00AM - 6:00PM on Saturday, March 26, 2011, in historic downtown Apalachicola.The daylong event will consist of three components - Art, Wine, and a Great Local Cuisine.
Starting at 11:00AM and lasting throughout the day various forms of Art will be on display in front of businesses in downtown Apalachicola where artists will highlight, sell, and demonstrate their work.
The festival will continue into the evening with a progressive Wine tasting and hors d’ oeuvre starting at 3:00PM where wines will be sampled at several predetermined locations.
The event will wrap up starting at 6:00PM with area chefs and participating restaurants preparing Great Local Cuisine made with oysters, shrimp, crabs, fish, and tupelo honey and for after diner entertainment - the Sarah Mac Band will be performing live starting at 8:00PM at the Dixie Theater.
