The following are images of the offshore oil spill trajectory forecast for Thursday, May 27 through Saturday, May 29, 2010.
According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) oil plume model, the oil spill is 75 miles southwest of Pensacola, 140 miles from Port St. Joe, and 305 miles from Clearwater. In addition, there’s no direct plume impact expected for the Florida coastline in the next 72 hours.
