At the Apalachicola Board of City Commissioners regular monthly meeting held Tuesday night, October 4th. Jim Bachrach, with Historic Apalachicola Main Street announced the selection of Tana Kendrick by 850 Business Magazine, as one of the magazine’s Pinnacle Award Winners for 2016.
“Each
year, Tallahassee 850 Magazine recognizes women of Northwest Florida for
excelling in business and making a difference in their community, and I'm excited
to announce that for the second year in a row, a nominee by the Apalachicola
Main Street has won this award... our new
award winner is 2K Web Group owner, Tana Kendrick… it's a great award", said Bachrach.
Kendrick,
a 2004 graduate of Apalachicola High School and co-owner and creative director
at 2K Web Group was one of 10 women selected by the magazine.
In
2015, Historic Apalachicola Main Street nominated Augusta West for the award. West currently serves as the Executive
Director of Historic Apalachicola Main Street.
