U.S. Rep. Steve Southerland's office has scheduled a meeting in Franklin County for Friday, November 22, 2013, from 1:30PM to 3:00PM EST, to allow Southerland to meet with local elected officials and community leaders to discuss Apalachicola issues and to provide an update on legislative activities.
The meeting will be held in the Apalachicola Board of City Commissioners meeting room inside the Battery Park Community Center at 1 Bay Avenue in Apalachicola.
This meeting is the rescheduled meeting from September 25, 2013, where Southerland was called back to Washington DC, to work on a Continuing Resolution to fund the operation of the US government and the October 18, 2013, meeting where Southerland also couldn't attend.
