Search on for next Gulf Coast State College President

In anticipation of Dr. Jim Kerley's June 2014 retirement as president of Gulf Coast State College (GCSC) in Panama City, Florida, the GCSC District Board of Trustees are seeking community input in their search for the next college president.

Members of the community are invited to attend one or two town hall forums scheduled for Monday, November 18, at the Gulf/Franklin Center (A110) and Tuesday, November 19, at the Panama City Campus Advanced Technology Center, Room 303.  Both forums are from 5:30 - 7:30 PM.

The public forums will provide the opportunity for everyone to share their thoughts on the challenges and opportunities facing GCSC’s next president, along with the qualities and characteristics GCSC is seeking in the next president. The forums are designed to solicit feedback that will assist with the development of the presidential profile.

The forums are open to everyone, and all members of the College community and GCSC service area are invited to participate in a discussion.

For more information, please contact Dr. Cheryl Flax-Hyman at (850) 747-3215.
