Come join with me tomorrow afternoon, August 31, for Labor Day weekend fun the entire family can enjoy. Kicking things off will be "Community Day" from 3:00PM- 7:00PM at the Franklin Square Recreation Park on 6th Street.
There will be music, games, a water slide, horseshoes, tennis, basketball, a yard sale, and hula-hoops andmuch, much more, so come out and let's put UNITY back into CommUNITY.
And for even more Labor Day weekend fun, come joinme at night for a free Jazz concert featuring Roman Street from 7:00PM - 10:00PM on the dock at Riverfront Park.
The concert is to benefit Bay Aid Franklin in the aftermath of the declared fishery failure in Apalachicola Bay and please remember to bring some canned goods or make a tax deductible donation while at the park.
