Local Artist work receives Honorable Mention

Apalachicola artist Susan L. Richardson work receives honorable mention and gains her some major exposure in parts of Georgia and here at home.

Richardson’s paintings have been on exhibition in some of the most exquisite art galleries throughout the southeast region, galleries such as 1020ART in Tallahassee, the Atlanta Artists Center in Atlanta, the Turner Center in Valdosta and here at home at the Apalachicola Museum of Art.

While on exhibition at the Atlanta Artists Center Richardson’s painting ‘Clearing Fog’ depicting an oyster boat floating on a foggy Apalachicola Bay received an honorable mention.

Also while on display at the Turner Center Richardson’s painting 'Off to tong the summer beds', received a merit award and another painting ‘Cobalt Bowl’ sold at the showing.
