The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a Heat Advisory which went into effect Noon today August 31, until 8:00PM EDT Saturday, September 1, for Southeast Alabama and portions of Southwestern Georgia and much of North Florida.
• MAXIMUM AIR TEMPERATURES: 94 to 97 Degrees
• MAXIMUM HEAT INDICES: 105 to 108 Degrees
The potential for heat exhaustion and heat stroke is increased with any outdoor activity.
