Historic Apalachicola, Inc. has announced plans beginning on Sunday, Nov 14 and ending on Monday, Nov 15 to spruce up historic downtown Apalachicola before the arrival of the 2010 holiday season.To accomplish this task Historic Apalachicola, Inc. is seeking help from volunteers to assist in getting the city ready for the holiday season. The all-volunteer group will sweep, trim, pressure wash, and paint - whatever it takes to get the job done.
Merchants please pull, drag, and/or place your debris to the right-of-way and the city will arrange to pick it up.
Historic Apalachicola Inc. is a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to collaborate with the City of Apalachicola to implement the Florida Main Street program. Main Street is a volunteer-driven, locally envisioned, community based program developed to rejuvenate historic downtowns.
