The Gulf Coast Workforce Board will be holding a free workshop for employers interested in participating in the Florida Back to Work Program.
Florida Back to Work is a federally funded subsidized employment program that provides up to 95% reimbursement to cover the costs of new employee’s wages and benefits through September 30, 2010.
Both public and private sector businesses are eligible to participate, but must meet the program requirements which include attending the Back to Work Workshop scheduled from 10:00AM to 12:00PM on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at the Franklin County Courthouse Annex located at 34 Forbes Street in Apalachicola.
In addition, interested businesses must post positions with the Employ Florida Marketplace, prepay the 5% portion not covered under the subsidy and hire from the eligible applicant pool.
