The City of Apalachicola has scheduled a special meeting for 12 Noon at City Hall on Monday, July 28, 2008, to discuss and set the millage rate for Fiscal Year 2008/09. The millage rate, also known as the property tax rate, is a figure applied to the value of your property to calculate your property tax liability. The current rate is 5.78 mils.
This is the first step in the process of developing our annual operating budget and the public is welcome to attend and voice your opinions.
