Wishing all of Franklin County a happy and safe Memorial Day Weekend and as a reminder, Memorial Day Services will commence at 11:00AM EDT - Monday, May 27, 2013, at Veterans Memorial Plaza in Historic Apalachicola and I hope to see you there.
In addition, via Proclamation issued today, Rick Scott, Governor of the Great State of Florida has directed all National and State flags in Florida to be lowered to half-staff from sunrise until noon on May 27, 2013, in memory of the fallen heroes of our Armed Forces.
