Library to host lecture by Author Kevin McCarthy

The Apalachicola Municipal Library will host a lecture by Author Kevin M. McCarthy on April 19 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at the Apalachicola Museum of Art, 96 5th Street.

The Lecture is entitled "Ten Little Known Facts About Apalachicola Bay."

Professor McCarthy is a former University of Florida Professor and noted author of many books on Florida, including African American Sites in Florida and Apalachicola Bay.

The event will also serve as the annual meeting of the Apalachicola Library Society (PALS). Attendance is $5.  If you renew your 2011 PALS membership or join during the April 19 event, admission is free.
