The
Apalachicola Board of City Commissioners will hold a Public Workshop at 5:30 pm
today October 4, 2016, to hear a proposal from Master Empire Pipe & Supply
Company to change out the city’s current water meters with radio read meters,
followed by the regular scheduled monthly meeting at 6:00 pm.
Highlighting
the regular meeting agenda is a continuation of the discussion and action on
the proposed Affordable Housing Ownership Program presented and discussed
during the September 27th Special Meeting held to adopt the city’s FY 2016-2017
budget. Along with a report from the advisory committee appointed to review
city ordinances governing the hours of operations of bars and restaurants and
the consumption of alcohol on the public right-of-way.
