Weems Memorial Hospital proudly announces the addition of Mr. Jarrod Wester as Director of Emergency Medical Services.
Originally from Gulf County where he dual enrolled in PSJ High School and Gulf Coast Community College (now, Gulf Coast State College), Jarrod completed his EMT coursework prior to his high school graduation. This required him to receive his HS diploma one evening and then travel to Tallahassee the next day to receive his Florida EMT license.
He is no stranger to rural healthcare in the Florida Panhandle and is passionate about clinical education.
Jarrod, along with his wife, Kory and three young children are looking forward to relocating to Franklin County, becoming involved in the community.
We are very pleased to welcome him to our organization!
