City of Apalachicola Boil Water Notice To Customers


CITY OF APALACHICOLA
BOIL WATER NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS
ALONG BLUFF ROAD (FROM HIGHLAND PARK ROAD TO DEAD END)
INCLUDING ALL CONNECTING ROADWAYS SUCH AS 
BAY CITY ROAD – WADDELL ROAD – SQUIRE ROAD – PARADISE ROAD
(THIS NOTICE DOES NOT INCLUDE THE HIGHLAND PARK AREA)

Effective Immediately:  November 11, 2014 1:30 PM – UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Contractors installing a drainage culvert under Bluff Road as part of Franklin County’s Road Paving Project damaged a 6” water main at approximately 12:00 Noon today that services the areas noted above. 

The water main has been fully repaired, but as a precautionary measure, if you experienced no water service today at your residence or business in these areas, you are hereby given notice to boil your water for one (1) full minute at a rolling boil before consumption, this includes but is not limited to uses for drinking and cooking purposes.  

This notice will be in effect until samples are cleared for terminating this temporary boil water requirement. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the City’s emergency number at 850-653-6845.
