Brigitte Giselle DuBois-LaPoint
The City of Apalachicola opened its arms to a new business early Saturday morning May 28, at a ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony at 75 Market Street the former location of Chef Eddie’s restaurant in the city’s historic commercial district.

The store, called Circee, is a clothing store specializing in the sale of designer women clothing along with accessories, purses, and shoes.

The owner, Brigitte Giselle DuBois-LaPoint, a former fashion model originally hails from Martinique, a French island in the eastern Caribbean Sea.

Ms. DuBois-LaPoint discovered Apalachicola while passing through on a modeling trip to Panama City and fell in love with the area.
