The planned weeklong cleanup of Apalachicola’s historic north side community, sponsored by Myrtis Wynn and Apalachicola City Commissioner Brenda Ash will conclude this Saturday May 1, with a May Day Fun Fest. From 9:00AM – 6:00PM, at historic Franklin Square 6th Street Recreation Park, the sound of fun will fill the air, while the aroma of southern soul cooking will most definitely bring on a voracious appetite. There will also be a basketball competition, yard sale, and kid games.
