Late Friday afternoon April 2, the Franklin County Public Library KIT and TIGERS programs showcased a teen talent show at the City of Apalachicola Community and Youth Center the site of old Apalachicola High School.
Taking first place singing a popular solo was talented Abby Harris, runner up was Caroline Campbell singing an inspirational Christian tune and Dre Robinson took third place with a comedy skit.
The Library’s KIT program “Keeping it Together” targets Franklin County Kids ages 10-17 and the TIGERS program provide Franklin County’s youth with positive, motivating, and cultural activities to inspire individual growth, and increase positive decision making. Upon registration, both programs are free and open to the public with sites in Apalachicola, Eastpoint, and Carrabelle.
