Main Street to host Autos & Oysters Classic Car Show and Sock Hop

Historic Apalachicola Main Street will be hosting a two day classic car show and sock hop this Friday and Saturday, November 13th and 14th at Riverfront Park on Water Street.

The event will kickoff with a sock hop on the City Docks Friday night from 5:00 P.M. until, and will feature local refreshments, DJ music from the 50’s and 60’s era, and fresh Apalachicola Bay oysters.

The car show will commence Saturday morning from 10:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M. with a showcase of antique and classic Porsche, Triumph, MG, Alfa Romeo, Rolls Royce, Mustang, Camaro, Mopar and other models will be on display. Also, several car clubs from throughout the tristate area have expressed interest in attending this inaugural two day Main Street event.

So come on out and spend a fall weekend of family-friendly fun in Historic Apalachicola surrounded by vintage cars, fine seafood, antique homes, pristine nature, extraordinary shops and restaurants and the friendliest folks in Florida.

This event is a Historic Apalachicola Main Street initiative to draw people into the downtown area to help stimulate the local economy.
