Blues in the Lot is back


This Saturday, October 22, 2011, the annual “Blues in the Lot” a 10-year outdoor blues festival promoted by local businessman Jerry Garlick is back in full force and has teamed with the Franklin’s Promise Coalition for a full day of blues and great food.

The event will be held on the dock at beautiful Riverfront Park in the heart of historic downtown Apalachicola and feature six exciting blues bands.

The deep stirring sound of blues will start emanating from the dock at Noon and end at 10:00PM and will feature such greats as Chip and the Wolftones, CS Holt Blues Band, Slim Fatz, Fantabulous Blues Band, Swingin’ Harpoon Blues Band and Matt Law.

The concert is free and open to the public, but donations are requested to benefit local seniors with winter necessities. To help, reserved tables will be available for a $300 donation for anyone wishing to sponsor the event.
