Cook and Ash takes early lead

Both Seat 3 candidates Frank Cook and Seat 4 candidate Brenda Ash have taken early leads in the Apalachicola city commission race after election officials tallied early and absentee ballots.

Thus far, 572 early and absentee ballots were casted with Cook receiving 168 to challenger's Jerry Hall 106 to take a commanding lead among early voters in the Seat 3 race.


In the Seat 4 race, Ash, a political newcomer out polled incumbent commissioner Valentina Webb in the early vote tally. Ash received 126 early votes, while Webb received 104 and Anderson "Andy" Williams 68.

For further results, stay connected as the Supervisor of Election is getting ready to tally the precinct votes to determine the outcome of both races.
