Budget
Preparations
Budget time is
approaching for county agencies. The TDC Board approved its proposed budget for
2015-16 at its May 6, 2015 meeting. Based on collections this past year,
revenues for 2015-16 are projected to be $950,000. Budgets will be final when
adopted by the BOCC at the end of September. The TDC will be preparing its
marketing plan in August and September.
Workshop
with Advertisers
May Committee
meetings are cancelled. Instead, the TDC, will hold a workshop to hear
proposals from advertisers at the EPVC on May 20, 2015 beginning at 2:00 P.M.
COCA
Advertising
The TDC has approved
an advertising program with the Leon Council on Culture and Arts that will
dovetail with COCA’s “More than you thought, This Week” Monday events
distribution. The focus of the Franklin County ad will be “Things to do if you
are going to the coast this week.” The COCA email distribution is to a
pre-qualified list of individuals interested in arts and culture is a major
audience for visitors to Franklin County. This will be an opportunity to
highlight events occurring each week before a Tallahassee audience. The program
is expected to begin in June.

Expenditure Reimbursement Requests
Non-profit
organizations are reminded to submit their requests for reimbursement to Laura
Graham as soon after their event as possible. Laura can be reached at the EPVC

Groups are also
reminded that the TDC logo, address and phone number have been changed since
action by the TDC Board in January. You may obtain a camera ready copy of the
TDC logo for use on all your publications supported by the TDC by downloading
one from the TDC website, www.saltyflorida.com.The physical and mailing address
